In addition to the above, the Club had a presence at the Bronte Tie-In from its inception to its
demise (late 1980s to early 2000s, certainly from 1990 to 2002); has been involved for many
years with Club members demonstrating at the IFS Open Day at Liawenee; for several years
Macca demonstrated tying at the Fallow Deer Association Expo at the Hobart Show Ground;
and for many years Club members demonstrated tying at the Bothwell Spin-In.

In 2012, 2014 and 2015 the Club undertook successful Open Days of Tying at the Lenah
Valley RSL, organised by Steve Butler. An earlier, not so successful Open Day was held in
August 1998 in the Battery Point Community Hall.
